Kirsten Easton-Hazzaa was born and bred in the suburbs of sunny Southern California. Though she now makes her home in Connecticut, she’s a California girl at heart and finds any excuse to wear a good sandal. She holds a B.A. in both Theater and Sociology from Occidental College and an M.F.A. in Playwriting from Southern Illinois University. Her plays have been performed in Los Angeles, New York City, London, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Houston (among others). Most recently, she was playwright-in-residence at La De Da Performing Arts Company, in Fort Collins, CO. When she’s not writing plays, Kirsten enjoys the challenge befriending introverts and folding her t-shirts using the Konmari method.
